haven't been updating much. that's actually a good thing in a way. cos it means i haven't been thinking too much. and that i'm being more spontaneous, doing more things, and having more fun. altho, sometimes i kinda hafta force myself to feel happy around certain groups of people. which is quite surprising - the fact that i even TRY and feel happy around them. i guess this is called 'keeping in touch'. reminding ourselves of what we once shared, and scouring for whatever common ground we have left. but i suppose the friendships that last longer are the ones that create new common ground. which by the way, is a two-way thing.this is a very strange holiday. and a very definitive one as well. altho some people fail to see that. damn, i'm back in my reflective and emo mood. but i guess it's hard to not feel sad when you ponder over such issues; the ones with no rules and no answers. because you're bound to realise that either yourself, or the people around you are being idiotic. and both ways, it's depressing somewhat. but for today, for now, i think i'm the idiotic one.
i was actually planning to update about the band concert, prom and my other random spontaneous activites which include suppers and cream puffs at mount faber. but, i've sorta lost the mood for that. cos everything seems to have diminished in value after i thought about the above. damnit.
but aiya, i shld at least say a couple of sentences about those events. after all, they were pretty significant. the concert was great. good music makes your hair stand on end, really. i'm real proud of my juniors. was a bit sad that i wasn't performing with them, but overall i don't regret the decision. prom was fantastic. i had a great time with the marines at prom and at dxo. the last few suppers i went for were good fun. had good company and pretty okay food.
okay, 8 sentences is all you're getting out of me tonight. i might do a proper entry for those events another time, tho very unlikely. because i think, events like prom and great band concerts, they're meant to be experienced, not retold.
