just got back from alumni band concert. it was nice seeing the seniors again. they were pretty good considering the amount of time they had to work with. but i guess i expected more. anyw, i'm having my dinner now. and honestly, this has got to be the most disgusting plate of rice i've had this week. its supposed to be rice with omelette, otah and chicken curry. they look fine, but one mouthful of it and you'll know it came straight from culinary hell. seriously. don't say its curry if its full of tomato sauce. and don't say its otah if it tastes like fish cake. the omelette is way too salty too. and the rice tastes like grains of sand, somehow. and i cant don't eat it, cos they'll say i'm wasting food.speaking of that, you know every time you want to throw away a plate of unfinished food that tastes like crap, your parents will probably go sth like 'don't waste food. there are poor kids in africa with no food to eat.' i really don't get it. what has that got to do with me wasting food? its not like by wasting my food i'm adding to the suffering of the poor kids in africa right. and neither can i alleviate their suffering by finishing my food. and technically, i'm not wasting food, can you even call this crap food in the first place? so the conclusion is that me wasting 'food' has absolutely no bearing on the poor kids in africa. i wish parents would stop saying that. don't they know how ridiculous they sound?
the best baker in the world does not necessarily work in a cake shop. so stop thinking you're the best baker cos you work in a cake shop. other ppl can bake cakes also okay.
