100th post!
it's been 100 posts and you're still reading. sweet. :)you know when you use the trains. you get to see a whole range of ppl.
the LEAN ALL OVER THE BAR kind
these ppl lean all over the bar and prevent anyone else from holding on to it. and they actually think that they take up very little space. (can you believe these ppl?!) some of them are like sweaty and yucky even. and after they alight they expect us to hold on to the bar they've just been smearing themselves on to.
the kind with MANY PLASTIC BAGS
i can understand that there are many great deals at places like ntuc. and the savings are like oh-so-much that you just cant help but buy everything home. and they just keep buying until they end up with many many plastic bags to carry home. staying true to the 'save money' spirit, they'll naturally choose to take public transport over the cab. and then they'll start building a fortress around themselves with their bags of grocerries. and poor us, will have nowhere to stand. and instead of feeling apologetic and remorseful, they flash this disgusting smile that says sth like 'look people, i've got so many bargains. you don't have. TOO BAD!' urgh! if you wanna save so much, why don't you just walk home instead.
the kind that JERK
these ppl are really quite funny. they're like sleeping really soundly, tho in a terribly unglam fashion, and suddenly they jerk. and then they'll notice the whole train cabin staring at them and they'll pretend to be like coughing or sth. its hilarious i tell you, the way everyone tries so hard to fake these things. and then they'll pretend to go back to sleep. but of course they cant sleep after such an embarrassment right. so they'll like peep once in a while to see if anyone's still looking at them. and to make their act more convincing, they'll start coughing at regular intervals to let the whole train cabin know that they're REALLY having a sore throat. i think they'll save more face if they got off and took the next train instead tho.
okay that's about all i've got to say about my ride home on the mrt. eventful right. meeting all 3 kinds in one train cabin.
