i forgot to blog abt smthn yesterday. haha. yday amos jillyan and i went to queensway cos jillyan wanted to buy stuff. then we came across this shop, there was this hwa chong girl sitting there listening to music, singing, shaking her legs, doing her homework and manning the shop all at the same time. i see now why she's in hwachong, maybe she can multitask and study her maths while doing chem tys at the same time or smthn. anyway, jillyan saw this bead thing at the shop and she couldn't make up her mind whether she wanted to buy it or not, partly cos she had no money and had to borrow from amos i guess. so after looking at it and walking away 3 times, she finally decided that she wanted to buy it. so we all went back to the shop and she took the bead thing and went over to the hwa chong girl to pay. then, the funniest thing happened.hwachong girl: 'you buy this for what?'
jillyan: 'to wear lah'
hwachong girl: 'but it looks so..er..nvm'
and then after that she took jillyan's $50 note and kept it without giving her change. after we reminded her, she took out the cash box again and asked us how much the bead thing cost. like how funny is that right, who's the owner of the shop now? her or us? anyway, we told her and then left the shop after that. i think what the hwachong girl said was vry disturbing to jillyan. cos she repeatedly asked if the bead thing was ugly after we left the shop. haha. damn funny.
anyway, today was the first day of the whole week of wasbe concerts i'd be attending. the band was good. but the pieces were so long that before they were even half way thru i'd be thinking of other things already. after the interval, a few of us decided to go down and sit at the level below us where the view was better. so we rushed down and got ourselves a seat with the best view. but before we even warmed the seat, the stupid esplanade lady came up to us and demanded to see our ticket. and so, we all had to go back up to our original seats. damn embarrassing lar. when we went back up the whole band was laughing at us cos they saw everything from up there. pure self-jack.
