end of terms.

today was my last paper. but i'm not as happy as i thought i would be tho. cos i quite like the idea of going home early and coming to school late. and from next week onwards, it'll be back to the normal routine of school. today was chem and laishan told me that she studied all the way till 3am for it, i didn't expect her to do so much for chem. but in the end, guess what, she was studying mole concept till 3am. which is as good as not studying at all lar. then after chem, i went to watch initial d with laishan. and that aunty forgot to bring money la, so everything was on me. and after paying for the tickets, we only had $1 plus left. so we went to the ntuc to see if we could buy anything to eat and drink. in the end, we could only afford just tea and a packet of twisties. damn pathetic la. we spent like 30mins standing in front of the tidbits section seeing what we could afford. felt like some primary school math question.

'laishan and gen were at ntuc. they have a total of $1.80. a packet of twisties costs $0.80, a packet of prawn crackers costs $1 and a packet of ruffles costs $1.20. a bottle of just tea costs $0.80, a can of sargiko lime juice(what kind of ulu brand is that right) costs $0.50. if laishan wants to buy a drink and gen wants to buy tidbits, how many possible combinations are there which they can afford?'

anyway, i don't know why, but i got psycho-ed into going for the stupid founder's day dinner thing in my sec sch parade square. must be cos my ex-form teacher kept flooding our email accounts with pleas and made us all go soft. the more i think about it the more i don't want to go. especially when i read my previous post about the garden setting and the wide western buffet spread i'm going to have to pay $50 for and supposedly 'enjoy' in the parade square. sighs.
